SUCCESSFUL PAST
INVESTMENTS
FERRARI 195 VIGNALE 1952
Ferraribuilt a series
of road cars to fund his racing expenses beginning in 1949 with the
166. The 195 was the second generation of the 12
cylinder
Gran Tourisimo road car. Ferrari used a number of
coachbuilders
include Vignale who
was known for his design detail in every part. This car
went
through a
ground up restoration and was the recipient of many awards
including Best of Show at the first Goodwood Festival of Speed Concours D'
Elegance.
She was sold to a very sympathetic collector
for a good return on our investment.
FERRARI 166 STABLIMENTI FARINA
1949
One of only
four cars built as Ferrari's first attempt to produce a street cars
from his race car technology. With only two of these cars remaining
it
was decided
to spare no expense on her two year restoration. She was displaed
at many events throughout Europe before being sold to a private
collector.
When CEO of
Fiat found out she was for sale, he requested that we sell her to
the Ferrari Museum. Unfortunately, she was already under
contract
producing a better
return.
FERRARI 250 SWB 1961
Built to
be the "Gentleman's Racing Car" . She could be driven to the track
and without modification she could race to win.
We have
experienced the good fortune of having three of these pass through
our hands fetching sale prices of $575,000 to
$1,200,000.
If you
where allowed to own only one Ferrari-this would be
it.
